A reputed CBSE school in Dwarka, Delhi is looking to appoint an HOD – Hindi to lead the Hindi department and oversee the planning, delivery, and quality of Hindi teaching across grades.
Lead, mentor, and supervise Hindi faculty across all grades.
Plan, review, and monitor the Hindi curriculum in line with CBSE guidelines.
Ensure effective lesson planning, teaching methodology, classroom delivery, and assessment practices.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
Coordinate with the Academic Coordinator and Principal on syllabus completion, examination planning, and result analysis.
Organise Hindirelated activities, competitions, events, and academic initiatives.
Support teacher training, mentoring, and professional development within the department.
Manage parentteacher interactions and address subjectrelated academic concerns.
Ensure adherence to school policies, SOPs, and academic quality standards.
Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and departmental documentation.
Master’s degree in Hindi from a recognised university.
Candidates with a Master’s degree in Sanskrit may also be considered, provided Hindi was studied as a subject at the graduate level.
B.Ed. degree or equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated ability to teach in both Hindi and English medium school environments.
Minimum 15 years of teaching experience.
At least 5 years of experience teaching Grades 8 to 10.
Prior experience as an HOD, Coordinator, or senior teacher is preferred.
Experience in a CBSE school environment will be preferred.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and departmental management skills.
Excellent command over Hindi language, literature, and pedagogy.
Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work closely with school leadership, teachers, students, and parents.
