A reputed CBSE school in Noida is looking to hire an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, fee administration, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers and other financial records.
Manage fee collection, reconciliation, outstanding dues, refunds and concessions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset records.
Support budgeting, cashflow monitoring and monthly financial reporting.
Coordinate payroll inputs and statutory compliances, including TDS, GST, PF and ESI, as applicable.
Assist with statutory filings, audits and preparation of financial documentation.
Liaise with school management, banks, vendors, auditors and external consultants.
Implement and maintain appropriate accounting controls and financial SOPs.
Undertake other finance and accounting responsibilities as required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline from a recognised university.
Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
Prior experience in a school or educational institution is compulsory.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping, fee accounting and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally, Microsoft Excel and school ERP systems.
Good analytical, reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
Strong organisational abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
High standards of integrity, confidentiality and professional conduct.
Experience supporting audits and implementing financial controls and SOPs would be an advantage.
