An educational trust that operates a reputed CBSE school in Gujarat is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The position will be based in Delhi NCR.
The role requires a seasoned leader with strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build a high-performance culture.
Develop and execute the school’s longterm strategic vision in alignment with Board objectives.
Translate organisational goals into actionable business, financial, and operational plans.
Drive growth, expansion opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify emerging opportunities, risks, and trends impacting the education sector.
Lead strategic planning and oversee execution of key initiatives.
Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Optimise capital deployment to support growth and operational efficiency.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and overall financial health.
Ensure sound financial management, cost control, and longterm sustainability.
Oversee financial reporting, audits, taxation, internal controls, and compliance.
Act as the primary liaison between the Board, Management, and leadership team.
Present strategic plans, financial performance, and key recommendations to the Board.
Build strong relationships with trustees, promoters, regulators, bankers, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Support governance, policy development, and institutional decisionmaking.
Provide leadership and mentorship to senior management and functional teams.
Build a highperformance, accountable, and collaborative culture.
Establish performance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
Oversee operational functions and ensure alignment between academic and nonacademic teams.
Drive organisational transformation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
MBA (Finance), CFA, CS, or equivalent qualifications will be an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience.
Proven experience in senior leadership roles such as CEO, COO, CFO, Business Head, Managing Director, Executive Director, or equivalent.
Strong background in strategic planning, financial leadership, business management, and organisational development.
Experience working closely with Boards, promoters, trustees, investors, or governing bodies.
Exposure to education, healthcare, professional services, infrastructure, manufacturing, or large institutional environments will be preferred.
Strong financial acumen and commercial judgment.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution.
Excellent stakeholder management and Board-facing communication skills.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor senior teams.
High integrity, sound judgment, and strong decision-making capability.
Ability to build systems, processes, accountability, and a performance-driven culture.
