A reputed trust-run school in South Delhi is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance, accounting, taxation, treasury, and compliance functions. The role requires strong financial leadership, operational control, compliance oversight, and the ability to drive process improvements and digitisation initiatives.
Oversee endtoend accounting operations and financial reporting.
Prepare and finalise Balance Sheets and coordinate statutory audits.
Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, budgets, forecasts, and trend analysis using ERP systems such as Tally.
Drive automation, digitisation, and technologyled improvements across finance processes.
Manage cash flow planning, forecasting, working capital, and fund utilisation.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to trusts and educational institutions.
Oversee PF, ESI, gratuity, donations, 80G, and other applicable compliances.
Manage direct and indirect taxation, including TDS, tax returns, assessments, and related matters.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, and other external stakeholders.
Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
Ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and timely compliance.
Monitor changes in financial, tax, and regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation.
Support legal and litigationrelated financial matters, where required.
Maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and financial governance.
B.Com
CA (Inter) / ICWAI
15+ years of post-qualification experience.
Prior experience in a school environment is compulsory.
Experience in schools, NGOs, trusts, or other service-oriented organisations is preferred.
Experience managing finance, accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial controls in an institutional environment.
Strong understanding of accounting systems, financial controls, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Office and financial ERP tools, particularly Tally.
Strong financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive process automation and digitisation initiatives.
Exposure to legal and litigation-related financial matters would be an advantage.
