A reputed CBSE school in Southwest Delhi is looking to appoint a Junior School Computer Teacher to introduce young learners to computers and digital technology through engaging, age-appropriate, and activity-based learning.
Teach computer and digital literacy skills to students in the junior school.
Conduct engaging, activitybased lessons appropriate for young learners.
Introduce students to basic computer operations, MS Office, internet safety, and educational applications.
Develop students’ foundational digital and technology skills.
Plan lessons, worksheets, activities, and assessments suited to different age groups.
Encourage creativity, logical thinking, and problemsolving through technologybased activities.
Monitor student progress and provide regular academic feedback.
Maintain computer lab records and ensure proper use of equipment.
Integrate ageappropriate digital tools and resources into classroom learning.
Collaborate with class teachers and academic coordinators on school programmes and initiatives.
B.Ed. with BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science)
B.Ed. with MCA / M.Sc. (IT / Computer Science)
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.
Experience teaching Computer Science or Computer Applications at the junior school level would be preferred.
Experience working with young learners in a CBSE school would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of basic computer concepts and digital literacy.
Familiarity with MS Office, internet safety, educational software, and age-appropriate digital tools.
Patient and engaging approach to teaching young learners.
Ability to simplify technical concepts through activities and practical demonstrations.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Creative, enthusiastic, and comfortable using technology to make learning interactive.
